WASHINGTON – U.S. Florida Republican Rep. Jimmy Patronis introduced greater than $355 million in new federal investments are headed to army installations in Northwest Florida, funding initiatives he stated had been superior after Congress averted what he known as the “failed Schumer shutdown.”

- $98.5 million for a sophisticated helicopter hangar at Naval Air Station Whiting Subject.
Patronis framed the funding as important to supporting army readiness and bettering quality-of-life providers for service members within the area.
