MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Miami Seashore Mayor Steven Meiner has introduced a decision to terminate the town’s lease settlement with O Cinema after the theater proceeded with the screening of a movie he referred to as “antisemitic.”
O Cinema, which operates out of a city-owned theater on Washington Avenue, initially agreed to tug the movie from its lineup after Meiner wrote a letter to the corporate.
Meiner stated the movie “No Different Land” is a “one-sided propaganda assault on the Jewish folks that is not constant with the values of our Metropolis and residents.”
