TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Republican Celebration Chairman Evan Energy is looking on federal lawmakers to take a web page from Florida’s fiscal playbook and undertake extra aggressive measures to cut back authorities spending.
Talking on Florida’s Voice Radio with Drew Steele, Energy criticized what he described as Washington’s lack of ability to make significant price range cuts and pointed to Florida’s balanced and lean budgeting strategy as a nationwide mannequin.

Energy cited Florida’s conservative budgeting underneath Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Republican-controlled Legislature, saying it displays the type of fiscal duty that’s lacking within the nation’s capital.
