ORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida Democrat is accused of “doxxing ICE” on social media and is being referred for investigation by the state’s lawyer basic.
Florida Lawyer Common James Uthmeier referred to as on State Lawyer Monique Worrell for the ninth Judicial Circuit to analyze Sen. Linda Stewart after a Fb put up she made exposing ICE’s whereabouts.
“Harassing regulation enforcement to stop them from doing their jobs is illegal in Florida,” Uthmeier wrote to Stewart on X. “Cease taking part in politics with the lives and security of regulation enforcement officers.”
The motion adopted a put up from Laura Loomer, who tagged Uthmeier in an X put up that included a screenshot of Stewart’s Fb put up.
“Linda Stewart, a Democrat Florida state senator from Orlando, is doxxing ICE on her Fb account and actively tracing their actions in Orlando in an effort to undermine and intrude in ICE raids,” Loomer wrote. “I consider that is unlawful in Florida!”
Uthmeier’s workplace cited a Florida regulation prohibiting the realizing and willfull impeding, threatening, or harassing a primary responder, a class that features regulation enforcement officers.
