On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis and Government Director for the Florida Division of Emergency Administration Kevin Guthrie shared plans for the Camp Blanding website throughout a roundtable dialogue with President Donald Trump on the grand opening of Alligator Alcatraz.
DeSantis mentioned the Camp Blanding website is projected to carry 2,000-bed detainees, whereas Alligator Alcatraz is projected to carry 3,000.
