TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – 5 Florida Universities have ranked within the Prime 100 Worldwide Universities Listing by the Nationwide Academy of Inventors.
The Nationwide Academy of Inventors, established on the College of South Florida to “acknowledges inventors for his or her accomplishments in patents,” a press launch stated.
The record ranks the highest universities granted utility patents in 2024.
The rankings for the 5 State College System of Florida establishments are:
- thirteenth place – College of Florida
- twenty sixth place – College of South Florida
- thirty fourth place – College of Central Florida
- 57th place – Florida Worldwide College
- ninetieth place – Florida State College
Chancellor Ray Rodrigues of the State College System stated this achievement “acknowledges the real-world affect of directors, college, and college students who’re centered on innovation and never indoctrination.”
“Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature have not too long ago invested greater than $200M to recruit and retain top-tier college; that is simply one other instance of how Florida’s efforts are paying off,” he stated.
