If you haven’t found any treasure on your own walking the beaches, then you can find it at the McLarty Treasure Museum, located on North A1A, just south of Sebastian Inlet State Park on the ocean.
This state-operated museum lies on the site of the camp established by the survivors of the 1715 shipwreck of Spanish treasure galleons awaiting rescue. There are great displays throughout the museum and grounds that make for a great family outing.
